Simulated USDC escrow and a compressed delivery meter. This is what the hourly rental flow looks like before you wire up real SSH access and Base Sepolia wallets.

Run your workload

Access: SSH

IdleChip does not run your code. After escrow is funded and the session is active, connect with SSH, Docker, or Jupyter (or what the seller described) and use the GPU yourself.

Demo shortcut (testnet preview)

On real testnet you would exchange SSH keys, hostnames, and firewall access before work starts. For this demo session, skip that setup: run npx idlechip-verifier watch --session 1f5ad964-1698-4c35-b12c-2324814b4c68 on the seller PC and attestations will drive escrow payout in about a minute (not the full 40h wall-clock window)).

Buyer

Fund escrow and wait for the session to be running.
Coordinate connection details with the seller (DM or access notes on the listing).
SSH into the seller host and run your training, inference, or scripts.
Use tmux/screen for long jobs; GPU util should rise on the session meter.
Stop your job and withdraw unused escrow when finished.

Seller

Keep the PC online for the booked session window.
Share SSH host, port, and username with the buyer (use access notes below).
Add the buyer’s public key or a one-time password before the session starts.
Run idlechip-verifier watch --session <id> on this machine while they work.

Escrow (demo credits)

Lock simulated USDC from the buyer's Profile balance. Delivery pays the seller in real time as the demo meter runs.

Real rentals meter one minute of GPU time per attestation (~60s apart). Demo sessions compress that so a 40h booking finishes in about a minute while watch --session runs — otherwise you would be waiting 40 hours. Longer bookings move faster (0.67h/s).
