Terms of use
Summary for the current IdleChip beta marketplace. Replace with counsel-reviewed terms before scaling payments or enterprise sales.
Marketplace role
IdleChip provides matching, hardware attestation, and session tooling. Buyers and sellers agree hours and rates on posts. Sellers are responsible for lawful use of their hardware and network access they grant to renters.
Payments
When on-chain escrow is disabled, ledger totals are simulated for preview only. When enabled, settlement follows delivered GPU-hours per the escrow terms accepted on each thread.
Acceptable use
- List only GPU capacity you control and can legally share.
- No malware, credential theft, or workloads that violate applicable law.
- Respect third-party ToS (cloud APIs, games, etc.) on machines you operate.
Availability
The service is provided during early access without uptime guarantees. Heartbeats and failover tooling help when sellers drop offline but do not guarantee job completion.
