Three stages: Demo (now), then Testnet, then Live. Demo uses simulated USDC in IdleChip — claim on Profile each hour, fund escrow from that balance, no MetaMask. Testnet adds a wallet and Base Sepolia test USDC. Live turns demo off for mainnet USDC.
1 · Demo (you are here)
- Claim simulated USDC on Profile once per hour (play money, zero cash value).
- Fund session escrow from that balance — same click flow you will use on testnet, without leaving the site.
- Sessions, GPU verifier, and ledger lines work end-to-end; settlement stays in-app until testnet opens.
2 · Testnet (next)
- Testnet: connect MetaMask on Base Sepolia, approve test USDC, and deposit into SessionEscrow on-chain.
- Hourly release and refunds follow delivered GPU-hours with real contract calls (still no real money).
- You may still see demo mode on during testnet beta — Live is when demo mode turns off.
3 · Live (later)
- Live: demo mode off, real USDC on Base mainnet, production terms.
- Same escrow pattern as testnet, with money you can actually spend or earn.
- The nav badge drops the Demo label when we announce general availability.
Demo mode stays on until Live. Use simulated USDC only in the Demo stage. Do not send mainnet USDC expecting production guarantees until we announce general availability.
